A: MyPRMatch.com is a social Web platform that matches businesses and public relations professionals, enabling them to form lasting, mutually beneficial working relationships.
Q: How does MyPRMatch.com configure my match?
A: Our platform matches you with practitioners who have entered data about their organization and its services based on the information you enter for each project and the hierarchy of importance you select.
Q: What is a “client”?
A: For MyPRMatch.com purposes, we define a “client” as a business or individual that seeks a public relations professional or agency (known as “practitioners”) to provide services for a project or on an ongoing basis.
Q: What is an Agency of Record?
A: An Agency of Record is the public relations agency that is responsible for handling all the PR services for a client. In other words, you hire an Agency of Record for more than just a short-term project.
Q: How much does your matching service cost?
A: It costs you nothing to create a business profile as a client. However, after you upload a project and search for a match, you will be charged as follows:
- View one complete practitioner profile: free
- View one free profile + one more: $10
- View one free profile + two more: $15
- View all matches: $35
Q: How long am I able to view my matches for a project?
A: Matched profiles are viewable/printable for 15 days.
Q: Is MyPRMatch.com open to individuals/organizations located in countries other than the U.S.?
A: We’re so excited you’re already thinking about our expansion! Unfortunately, at this time, only U.S.-based individuals/organizations can register. We’ll let you know the second this changes.
Practitioner FAQs
Q: What distinguishes MyPRMatch.com from cold calling?
A: You can be confident the outreach you receive is regarding a project or agency search and that you have been chosen based on several markers important to the potential client.
Q: How often do I have to pay? How much does it cost?
A: Only once a year. Cost depends on the size of your organization:
- Solo practitioner: $100/year
- 1-25 employees: $250/year
- 26-100 employees: $500/year
- 101-500 employees: $1,000/year
- 501+ employees: $1,500/year
Q: What if our firm has more than one location? Do I have to create separate profiles for each one?
A: No, you only have to create one profile. There is a place to indicate multiple locations within the profile creator.
Q: Once contacted by a client, how many professionals/firms will I be competing with?
A: This will all depend on the client, especially based on which package they have purchased. MyPRMatch.com recommends clients consider between three to five professionals/firms before making a final decision.
Q: How long do clients have my information?
A: For every search, clients have access to their matches for 15 days.
Q: What information are clients able to see?
A: Everything you put in your profile will be visible by the client, so it is beneficial to you to make yours as complete as possible! They will also see the reasons you came up as a match.
Q: Can I search the database for possible clients?
A: No, MyPRMatch.com is a service for nonprofits and small- to medium-sized business owners to reach out to PR professionals on their own terms. We do not want it to become a harvesting ground for contact information. Sorry!
